Shadow resist gear for hunters

Thus if you can get access to a few hearts, go for this set. 3 pieces will bring you to your 150 unbuffed shadow resist.
Since I don’t believe you have access to those things (otherwise you’d probably know about this gear), you might want to buy some shadow resist gear from the ah.
Buy a ring and a headpiece with lots of shadow resist on it (some green gear, and apply a +20 shadow resist enchant on it).
This should get you to ~70-80 shadow resist. Buy another 1-2 pieces of green gear and you have your basic shadow resist gear.
Of course this will butcher your damage output, but that is always the case with shadow resist gear.-Hunter FAQ

My question is, what are good picks for Shadow Resist gear you use without butchering your DPS?
I did a search for Shadow gear and Everything is crafted stuff, with +stamina only on it with the resist. Am I missing something, Or can I get away with only needing to switch out 3 maybe 4 pieces of gear?
